Bishop

His Lordship Bishop Alfred Kipkoech Arap Rotich

Holds spiritual and administrative authority over a diocese, which is a geographical area containing multiple parishes. As a successor to the apostles, a bishop is responsible for teaching the faith, governing the Church, and sanctifying the faithful within his diocese. He is entrusted with the care of souls, guiding his flock with wisdom, compassion, and a deep commitment to Christ's teachings. Bishops are also responsible for ordaining priests and deacons, ensuring that the sacraments are properly administered, and fostering unity within the Church. Through his pastoral leadership, a bishop works to build a vibrant, faith-filled community that reflects the love and mercy of God, while also addressing the spiritual and social needs of his people.

Acts as an extension of the Bishop's authority and helps in making decisions aligned with the Bishop's intentions, especially concerning policy and procedural matters within the Diocese.

Finance Administrator

The Finance Administrator heads the Finance office of the Diocese. The mandate of the office is to oversee the overall financial management of the Diocese of Kericho. Through this office, development strategies and projects are financed.

Vocational Director/ Youth Chaplain

Rev. Fr. Moses Langat

The vocations office is tasked with the coordination of vocation animators and activities within the Diocese. The office also oversees the animation committees at the Diocesan, Deanery and parish levels.

These committees comprise of priests, religious and the laity. Under the vocations office, open days for missionary and vocational animation are laid out in the General year plan of the church where all vocations are promoted.The youth office is the central coordinating office of all the youth activities in the Catholic Diocese of Kericho. The youth chaplain, in liaison with the Parish priests, Diocesan Youth Executive, and youth leadership at the Parish, and Deanery levels, works to promote spiritual and social formation for youths at all ages and levels of education in the Catholic Diocese of Kericho. The Chaplain is aided in his work by the Youth Diocesan Executive.

The priest serves together with the vocations director and Youth Chaplain and assists the director in both offices.
