EDUCATION

Introduction

Education is a vital aspect of our mission at Saint Anthony of Padua Youths Service. We believe in the transformative power of education to shape the minds and hearts of young people, preparing them not only for successful careers but also for lives rooted in faith, service, and moral integrity. Our diocese is deeply committed to providing quality education that nurtures both intellectual growth and spiritual development.

Catholic-Sponsored Schools

Within our diocese, we are blessed to have 67 Catholic-sponsored primary and secondary schools. These institutions are dedicated to delivering a holistic education that integrates academic excellence with the values of the Catholic faith. Our schools are more than just places of learning; they are communities where students are encouraged to grow in wisdom, virtue, and compassion.

Primary Schools

Our Catholic primary schools provide a strong foundation for young children, emphasizing core academic subjects while also instilling a deep love for God and neighbor. Students are taught to see Christ in everyone they meet and to approach their studies with a sense of purpose and gratitude. Daily prayers, regular Mass attendance, and religious instruction are integral parts of the curriculum, ensuring that students grow in their faith alongside their academic achievements.

Secondary Schools

Our Catholic secondary schools continue this mission by offering a rigorous academic program combined with opportunities for spiritual and moral development. Students are challenged to think critically, act ethically, and contribute positively to society. Through various extracurricular activities, such as religious clubs, community service projects, and leadership training, students are encouraged to put their faith into action and become leaders in their communities.

Continuing Faith Formation

Education in our diocese doesn't end with graduation. We encourage lifelong learning and faith formation through various programs and resources available to alumni and the wider community. From adult catechism classes to workshops on contemporary issues in faith and morality, we provide opportunities for continuous growth in knowledge and spirituality.
